Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is gearing up for his next project with director SU Arun Kumar. Tentatively titled ‘Sandiyar’ and also referred to as ‘KH237’, the film is expected to be a gritty rural action drama. The makers have now unveiled a new poster and teased a major announcement for tomorrow.Kamal Haasan’s production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, shared the poster on its official Instagram handle. Along with the poster, the production house wrote, “REVENGE can only be settled in BLOOD Tomorrow @ 5:00 PM.”The poster features a close-up of the right side of Kamal Haasan’s face, with particular focus on his eye. A vertical beam of light falls across his face as he gazes ahead with a steady and confident expression. His grey hair and moustache further add to the intensity of the poster.The makers have not yet revealed the nature of the announcement. More details about the project are expected to emerge at 5 PM tomorrow.
Film expected to be a rural action drama
SU Arun Kumar is directing the film, which is expected to be a gritty and grounded rural action drama set against the backdrop of Madurai. The project is among Kamal Haasan’s upcoming acting and production commitments.Meanwhile, the banner is also producing Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Seyon’. The production house recently announced that the film had completed its second shooting schedule. Actress Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead in the film.
Kamal Haasan also backs Rajinikanth’s ‘Dharman’
Apart from these projects, Kamal Haasan’s production banner is backing Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Dharman’. The film also features Nayanthara, Raashi Khanna and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Niketh Bommi is handling the cinematography and Pradeep E Ragav is in charge of editing.Kamal Haasan is also expected to appear alongside Rajinikanth in a key role in the film.
