BBC reported that Parton’s manager and the company officially dropped any of the charges they had against him in court. In another statement, Seaver’s attorneys shared that he is “grateful to put this misunderstanding behind him so that the family can grieve peacefully.”The case had started only a few months ago, and it was barely weeks after Parton had passed away following a brief battle with cancer. At the time, they had sought a restraining order against Seaver, with allegations of threats, intimidation, and coercion.Seaver maintained throughout the case that he was innocent, that most of the messages that were being listed as alleged ‘proof’ of his behaviour were nothing but words that had been taken for granted. Seaver had worked with Parton as the head of her security detail for years. Only weeks after her passing, he and all of the security personnel from his own company that had been working on Parton’s estate were removed from the premises. Some of the allegations that had been listed against Seaver also included mentions of him allegedly using his experience as a former military officer to threaten violence against Danny Nozell, Parton’s longtime manager. While talking to TMZ about the same, Seaver had denied all of the allegations and had stated that the words were taken out of context, and he had only been “talking frankly in a private way with Danny, who I thought was my friend.”
