BENGALURU: Britannia Industries reported a 10.8% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 726 crore for the Sept quarter, even as expenses grew faster than income. It had posted a profit of Rs 655 crore a year earlier. Total income rose 15.9% to Rs 5,671 crore in the second quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 4,893 crore in the corresponding period last year.
